General Rental Terms and Conditions
ARTICLE 1 – CONDITION OF THE VEHICLE
The vehicle is delivered in perfect working order, the meters and indicators are sealed and the seals cannot be removed or violated, otherwise the rent will be paid with a fine of 500 km per day (1 km €0.15 + VAT).
ARTICLE 2 – CONSERVATION AND REPAIR
All repairs caused, either by normal use or by the customer’s negligence, or even by an accidental cause, will be the responsibility of the customer and carried out by OK & GO Rent. the customer will be charged for repairs at a minimum cost of €200.00 per piece.
ARTICLE 3 – RENTAL, DEPOSIT AND EXTENSION
The customer undertakes to use the rented vehicle only for personal use and with limited circulation to Terceira Island. If the customer wishes to associate a second driver, he must hire the second driver for the vehicle, paying a single fee of €29.50 (up to two drivers can be added). The rental and deposit prices are determined by the rates in force. The deposit cannot be used for a rental extension in order to avoid protests and if the customer wants to keep the vehicle for a longer period than indicated in his contract, he must settle the amount of the additional rental 48 hours before the expiry of the term. rental in progress under penalty of being exposed to judicial persecution for the diversion of the vehicle or breach of trust.
ARTICLE 4 – INSURANCE
In the rental prices, liability insurance is included. The customer is responsible for all damages caused or losses that he may suffer in the vehicle, as well as for the days of immobilization, according to the category of the rented vehicle and according to the rates in our table.
ARTICLE 5 – PAYMENT TERMS
The customer will have to present a credit card at the beginning of the rental, or he will have to
leave €500.00 in cash as a rental guarantee.
ARTICLE 6 – RETURN OF THE VEHICLE
The customer, in addition to having the obligation to return the vehicle in perfect working order, at the end of the rental, undertakes not to abandon it. This delivery must be made to a OK & GO Rent employee. If, for any reason, it is materially impossible for the customer to comply with this obligation by his own means, the vehicle will be transported to our headquarters, with the costs being the responsibility of the customer. In case the vehicle is not operational, the daily immobilization fee corresponding to the daily fee will be applied. Fuel is not included in the price. The vehicle will be delivered with a full tank, which must be filled up at the end of the rental, at the customer’s expense. if this is not complied with, a refueling fee of €30.00 + missing fuel applies.
ARTICLE 7 – RESPONSIBILITIES
The customer is solely responsible for the misdemeanors and records raised against him.
ARTICLE 8 – MINIMUM RENTAL PERIOD

ARTICLE 9 – SKILLS
Doubts about the interpretation of the clauses of this document, as well as questions arising from its application, are the exclusive competence of the Judicial Court of Angra do Heroísmo.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
PRICES INCLUDE
Civil liability insurance, the customer is responsible for all damages or losses caused to the rented vehicle, as well as the days of immobilization of the same. Government rates and fees are subject to change without notice. All prices shown include VAT at the legal rate in force.
RESERVATIONS
The rental terms, delivery and return dates constitute a commitment.
BASIC COVERAGE
Even if there is no negligence or deliberate violation of the terms and conditions mentioned in the rental contract, the customer will be responsible for damages caused by collision and rollover of the OK & GO Rent vehicle. It is also the customer’s responsibility to pay for damages caused to S OK & GO Rent a car’s vehicle. This coverage does not cover damage or loss of keys, fuel mistakes and damage to extra equipment.
PLUS COVERAGE
Even if there is no negligence or deliberate violation of the terms and conditions mentioned in the rental contract, the customer will be responsible for the total or partial theft of OK & GO Rent’s vehicle. in case of fire or damage caused by acts of vandalism, it is the responsibility of the customer. It is also the customer’s responsibility to pay for damages caused to OK & GO Rent’s vehicle. If the customer has previously contracted the protection coverage, it can be reduced by the amount of the mandatory deductible (according to the tariffs in force), exceeding the deductible value is the responsibility of the customer. this coverage does not cover damage or loss of keys, fuel mistakes and damage to extra equipment.
PREMIUM COVERAGE
Although it includes partial collision and theft coverage (basic coverage and plus coverage) it is the customer’s responsibility to use the OK & GO Rent vehicle. It is mandatory to use the vehicle within the terms and conditions of the rental contract. This coverage does not cover damage or loss of keys, fuel mistakes and damage to extra equipment.
GLASS, HEADLIGHTS, WHEELS AND TIRES
It exempts the driver(s) from damage to glass, headlights, rims and tires that occur under normal driving conditions. This coverage has a cost that varies according to the groups presented (www.okgorent.pt).
PAYMENT TERMS
The estimated cost of the rental must be paid upon delivery of the vehicle and the final adjustment will be made at the end of the rental on the amount of the deposit.
FUEL
It is not included in prices. The vehicle will be delivered with a full tank, which must be filled up at the end of the rental, and at the expense of the customer, otherwise a service charge of €30.00 applies, as well as the respective cost of the missing fuel.
DRIVER’S AGE
Minimum 21 years old, with 1 year of driving experience (when under 21 years old, must have at least one year of experience and can only hire categories E & C).
DELIVERIES/PICKUPS
A one-time fee of €11.70 applies even if the delivery zone is different from the collection.
WASHING
A cleaning fee of €15.80 is charged, however, if the interior of the vehicle has marks on the upholstery, a complete cleaning will be required, with an upholstery and interior cleaning fee of €100.00 being applied.
BABY CHAIR/BABY SEAT
€5.95 per day.
FUEL DEPOSIT
Group E, C, CP, D, deposit in the amount of €138.00. Groups P, PP, A, Ks, deposit in the amount of €196.00. at the end of the reservation, and checking the condition of the fuel tank, the deposit is returned within a maximum period of 5 working days within the Unicre network.
